Product Description Improve your health, track your intensity and meet your weight loss goals by being -in the know- with a timex Personal HRM.
Amazon.com Product Description The affordable, entry-level Timex T5G941 is great for those just starting out with heart rate monitoring. This digital wristwatch-style monitor continuously tracks your heart rate via a comfortable, elastic chest strap (which fists chest sizes from 25 to 53 inches). The large, easy-to-read display recalls your activity time and average, peak, and minimum heart rate, and it includes 12/24 hour time and month/date display. It also features INDIGLO night light backlighting, up to 2 years of battery life, and is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet)--enabling it to withstand splashes and accidental dunks into the water, but not suitable for swimming.

Timex heart monitor watch...great product, great price! March 17, 2010 Julie A. Gray (Eglin AFB, FL) I purchased this Timex watch because I do a lot of running and DVD work outs and wanted to track my heart rate. This watch is great because the digital readout it large enough where I don't have to stop to look at it, I can see it while still moving. To date, the watch is very accurate and does nearly everything I need it to do, plus the price and shipping time were extremely wonderful! Setup is very easy and the watch and heart rate strap are both comfortable and don't bother me while I'm working out. One feature that I would love to have is the calorie counter, but overall, I'm more than satisfied with my purchase.
My wife loves it! March 17, 2010 J. Potts I got this as a gift for my wife, and she has been very pleased with it! She finds the interface easy to use, and the strap is not uncomfortable or an inconvenience. She also did not have any of the problems others reported with the strap not getting a reading. One nice added bonus she found was that the strap is able to be picked up by many of the machines in our YMCA, so she doesn't even have to look at the watch when using a treadmill, elliptical, etc. Great product, and a great price!
Works well, can't beat price March 15, 2010 Oye! (DC) I wanted an inexpensive heart monitor for tracking my heart rate during exercise. I recently started on P90X and wanted to make sure I wasn't "dogging" it. This product is exactly what I wanted, an entry-level, single function heart monitor. No bells or whistles, just wrap up the sensor and start the watch. It gives you your heart rate and a little heart icon that beats to the detected heart beat.
You have to make sure the sensor's back is wet when you strap it to your chest to ensure it works, but otherwise I've been checking the rate on the watch against a manual count and it has been accurate enough for my purposes.
For $32, with free shipping, it's a great deal for an entry level monitor.
Great item and great price March 11, 2010 Michael Faro (New York, NY USA) I wanted to try a heart rate monitor watch and decided to buy the least expensive model I could find that also had good reviews. I'm very satisfied with my choice.
I've had zero problems. It's easy to set up and easy to use. I really like that it will sync up with the cardio machines at the gym as well. (Once it's up and running, the machines automatically pick up the signal. You don't have to do anything.)
This watch doesn't have a lot of special features, but if you just want a basic heart rate monitor watch at a competitive price, I highly recommend this model.
Excellent Monitor March 5, 2010 Daniel L. Groff (Lancaster, PA USA) I have been using the heart rate monitor at my local Planet Fitness and seems to be working great. Picks up my heart rate on all their equipment without any trouble at all. The chest band is comfortable once properly adjusted. This monitor should last a long time as you can just install a new battery when the old one dies. The watch band is plastic and comfortable on the wrist. If your looking for a plain old heart rate monitor to make sure your in the zone then Timex is your answer. I would buy another one if this one went bad.
